we produce the Cabernet grapes from Alto Mantovano zone for this wine with its deliberate , soft , velvety character.
A friendly, immediate wine.
From the hills of Moreniche, selected from the best vineyards enhanced by the beneficial effects of Lake Garda, emerges this wine, rich in both aroma and taste. The notes of ripe fruits and berries on the palate enhance its softness and the delicately balanced tannins, give a delightful finale.

Municipality in Ponti sul Mincio and Gonzaga. Altitude: 150 m s.l.d.m. Soil: Stony, moraine.
The vineyard
Pruning: Guyot. Yield per hectare: 120 quintals / ha
The vinification
Grape variety: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Cabernet Franc, Harvest; mid September depending on the vintage, hand-picked and selected grapes. Vinification: maceration of 10-12 days at a temperature of 30 °C. Ageing: in stainless steel for about one year, and at least 2-3 months in bottle.
The wine
Analytical data: Alcohol: 13.00% Residual sugar: 3.8 g / l Total acidity: 5.1 g / 1 Bottling: between the end of year (harvest) and the beginning of the new year.
Characteristics:
Colour: Ruby red. Olfactory: Plum and cherry, are intertwined with vegetal and herbaceous aromas typical of the vineyard, Taste Rounded, velvety and tannic.
Gastronomic combinations
Perfect with lasagne, or Gnocchi with a meat or tomato ragu. Works equally well with grilled red meats. Serve at room temperature.
Recommendations
In summer, serve cooled with rich salads or cold veal and tuna sauce (Vitello Tonnato)
